Il corso è mirato a raggiungere il livello B2 del Quadro di Riferimento Comune Europeo (CEFR), a questo livello si richiede la capacità di comprendere le idee principali di testi complessi, siano essi argomenti concreti o astratti, incluse discussioni tecniche in ambito lavorativo.
Inoltre, Nel B2 il grado di accuratezza, spontaneità e fluidità rende l’interazione con i madrelingua semplice e senza sforzo, lo studente imparerà a produrre enunciati (scritti ed orali) chiari e dettagliati su un ampia gamma di temi e la relativa capacità di spiegare il proprio punto di vista, elencare vantaggi e svantaggi o esprimere la propria opinione su questione di attualità.
Main Contents of this course:
Each lesson includes grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. All these contents will be studied actively, every new topic will be immediately put into practice with active and stimulating exercises involving listening and speaking activities.
Grammar: At B2 level the knowledge of the main structures of grammar will be revised and consolidated, moving from a passive to an active use of the language and developing fluency and new Vocabulary studied with opportunities to put new vocabulary into practice further developing your ability to build new words by adding affixes and pronouncing new lexis correctly and confidently.
Vocabulary: These are all the topics which will be covered in the units: Holidays, Rubbish and Recycling, Shops and Services, Photography, Looking after yourself, Study and work, Television, Adjective Suffixes, DIY and repairs, At a restaurant, Phrasal verbs and the country.
Speaking: Is a main activity in the course. You will discuss the subjects of each unit and you will practice the grammar orally. You will learn up-to-date, stimulating topics such as English on the telephone and voicemail, English when travelling, English, at work and English with Friends.
Listening and Reading: As an intermediate student in fact, you will be reading a wide range of texts (websites, emails, text messages, books, magazines/newspapers, song lyrics, guides and blogs) and listening to different types of media sources (TV, radio, films, songs and music, announcements podcasts, voicemail messages).
Writing: You will practice your writing skills gaining awareness of registers and structures and fixed phrases. During the course you will periodically write formal emails, informal emails, text messages, postcards forms into English blogs.
